We’ll chalk this up to a big “oops” on Nintendo’s part and assume it’ll be fixed soon, but you can disable the ability of the Switch parental control app to track gameplay simply by disabling WiFi. Apparently, the Switch doesn’t have any way to track data of games that are played and stored to a log that relays that information once a connection is regained.
We doubt this will last for long, but it’s still rather interesting considering there’s a separate app designed for tracking Switch usage. You’d think this is something Nintendo would test before shipping the thing, but ah well.
