If you’re like us, you’ve wondered what the “R” in the Switch launch title Super Bomberman R stands for. Well, you can stop wondering because the question has been answered.
According to a PEGI rating for the game, the “R” actually stands for “Rangers”, where the game’s title is officially listed as “Super Bomberman Rangers”.
Which makes sense, since the main campaign in the game features characters called “Bomberman Rangers”. But Konami never officially confirmed that this is what the “R” stands for.
Why didn’t Konami just call it “Rangers” in the first pace? That still remains a mystery.
