Sega has posted a new video giving us a look at Flying Battery Zone in Sonic Mania, which originally featured in Sonic 3 and Knuckles. It’s an interesting look at the upcoming game, but the real news can be found in the description for the video. This title was originally slated for release in the Spring quarter of 2017, but now it looks like it won’t be arriving until Summer.
Sonic Mania is set to release this summer on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
That’s a bummer for those of you who were looking forward to getting your hands on this game, but it’s only a three-month delay at max. We still don’t have a solid release date, so it could be even less than that.
