Plextor Announces New S2 Entry-amount Ssds

Plextor has just introduced a new vary of budget SSDs, the S2 collection. They’re developed all-around TLC NAND flash and a Silicon Movement controller, and boast a a few-year guarantee. The drives arrive in 128GB (with 256MB DDR3 cache), and 256GB and 512GB (both with a 512MB cache) versions. Functionality is rated at 520MB/s examine speeds and 480MB/s create speeds. The drives will be offered in Oct, and although we do not have pricing yet, they are likely to be quite inexpensive.
