Thecus has just released a new smartphone app, Thecus Hook up, that allows you connect remotely with Thecus NAS gadgets. Via Thecus Hook up, users can remotely change on or off network providers, get Smart Alerts instantly from their NAS, and test in depth histories of NAS exercise. You can bookmark several NAS gadgets in the app, and get a live feed of hardware and network standing. The app only operates more than wi-fi, but there is an offline mode that presumably allows you access the last recognized records of any given unit. Thecus Hook up is presently only out there for Android gadgets, but will get an iOS variation shortly.
