Currently, journalists published their early impact of the Nintendo Swap. While most factors seemed fairly positive, there was 1 concern that we all may possibly have to have to take take note of: Joy-Con difficulties. Specified publications have documented complications with the still left Joy-Con. According to their reports, the controller will de-synch from time to time when not attached to the Nintendo Swap.
Here’s what Polygon’s James Bareham reported in his preview:
“The biggest present-day concern with the Swap is 1 of basic reliability. Over the study course of my time with Breath of the Wild, I’ve had recurring complications with the still left Joy-Con controller partially or even completely dropping sync from the Swap console when docked and related to my tv. This is a ache in the ass at greatest, but has also resulted in a number of fatalities enjoying Breath of the Wild.”
In the meantime, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier echoed these complaints, adding that he’s switched to the professional controller because of how frequently the difficulty pops up:
The Swap still left JoyCon’s sync difficulties have been so lousy for me that I cannot perform Zelda on my Tv with it – employing the professional controller alternatively.

Over on NeoGAF, GameZone also seasoned complications with their Swap models, stating that their still left Joy-Con is owning trouble being synced to the console, and at times the Swap does not demand all the way when docked:
“During 1 part we do provide up two technological difficulties I have with the Swap, which I’m genuinely hoping are just isolated to our console. One is with the battery not charging all the way even when it is docked, and the other with some difficulties of input lag in scarce situations when the Joy-Con are detached from the console alone.”
With these becoming pre-launch models and a huge day-1 update on the way, we’re hoping this will not be a difficulty arrive upcoming Friday. Nevertheless, if the difficulty persists, you can expect to hear it from us.
