Reviews have been popping up of some unconventional fan action in specified GTX 1080 playing cards. Seemingly, underneath load, the fan appears to randomly spin up to super-higher velocity, which final results in a far more than audible whine. Thankfully, Nvidia’s on the circumstance, and has noticed the trigger of the issue, and has promised to deal with this issue in the upcoming driver update. Update 6/1/16 – We are testing a driver deal with to handle the random spin up/down fan issue. Update 6/two/16 – Driver deal with so far has handed interior testing. Take care of will be element of our upcoming driver launch.Update 6/6/16 – A new driver with a deal with for the fan revving issue will be unveiled on 6/seven/16
