The Nintendo Change works by using SD cards for supplemental storage if you will need more than the incorporated 32 GB on the console for online games and downloads.
And SD cards are quite cheap these times. Unless of course it is the official Change-branded variations marketed by HORI.
Although a normal 32 GB micro SD card fees $12 on Amazon, HORI sells their 32 GB Change-branded 32 GB card for a whopping 3800 Yen. That is $33.
Which is just about three instances as high priced as a normal 32 GB card from SanDisk. Samsung sells just one for just 10 bucks.
And the high priced HORI SD cards are not any faster than the normal, more cost-effective variations from SanDisk and Samsung.
The Change features 32 GB of on-board storage and supports micro SD cards up to 2 TB.
