One of the main problems I have with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is being given so many things to do, but very little options to see what all I’ve accomplished. I’m the type of person who likes a checklist of things I’ve done. It might seem frivolous, but it caters to the side of me that likes to feel like I’m working toward some type of goal.
With Breath of the Wild, I’ve become frustrated by the fact that checking the mini-map doesn’t show you which shrines I’ve cleared. It should, but it doesn’t. However, as Reddit user “Daronh” pointed out today, the mini-map does show which shrines you’ve nabbed all the treasure chests in.
I booted up Breath of the Wild after finding this post to double check and low behold…I have a lot of shrines to revisit. On the plus side, some of my shrines had treasure chests near them, so that’s pretty helpful.
