Arc Method Functions has announced that it will be releasing new instalments in the Jake Hunter adventure series – recognised in Japan as Tantei Jingūji Saburō. Knowledge East kicked off the series back in 1987 on the Famicom Disk Method, but it did not make its western debut until eventually a lot more than twenty yrs afterwards, with Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles (2008) and Jake Hunter Detective Tale: Reminiscences of the Earlier (2009) on the Nintendo DS, both equally released by Aksys Video games. Arc Method Functions has collaborated with IP operator WorkJam on quite a few other DS and 3DS sequels, but the enterprise has now bought the rights to the franchise from WorkJam operator Expris, together with Theresia, Nazo no Jikenbo and Koneko no Ie.
