Ever marvel what the Dark Knight does in his downtime? If the freshly unveiled trailer for The Lego Batman film is any indicator, it turns out that the growly voiced Caped Crusader (performed by Will Arnett) enjoys almost nothing a lot more than chilling out in his cartoonishly cavernous Batcave, throwing on a comfy gown, and nuking a plate of Lobster Thermidor. Oh, and he also likes to beatbox, a talent we’re pretty confident is new to the Bat-canon (until there was a rendition of “It’s Tricky” in The Killing Joke that we totally forgot about). The sequel to 2014’s awesomely received The Lego Movie, the newest blockbuster-to-be is directed by Chris McKay, who labored as an animation director on the first film, and has numerous Robotic Rooster episodes to his credit. And nevertheless this 1st teaser is pretty considerably all-Bats, the film also attributes Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, and Rosario Dawson as Batgirl. We’ll see them go head-to-head in Gotham when The Lego Batman Movie opens on February ten, 2017. Pause at: one:23 for a fast seem at some of Batman’s superhero pals—including Speculate Female, Superman, and Green Arrow—in pursuit of justice. Or it’s possible just one more lobster dish. Necessary Quote: “I saved the city once more. It was off the chain.”
