Reddit at last launches an official application
“Finally” is 1 of these text that gets overused in tech news tales, but I imagine it’s truthful to say that it’s taken a pretty long time for Reddit to release its first official, indigenous apps for iOS and Android. Till now, the enterprise has built do with Alien Blue, which began out as a 3rd-get together application before being obtained by Reddit in 2014. But as Sarah Perez claimed this early morning, the company’s engineering crew resolved rebuild the application from scratch to make it “faster, far more modern and far more usable.” In the video clip above, I do a fast runthrough of the application. As with most other news apps, the articles in all probability matters far more than any individual features, but there are some points really worth showing off, like the way the navigation has been redesigned for cell, the new picture view and the app’s overall velocity — which is great right until you’re attempting to observe a connection to a further web site and anything out of the blue slows down. You can down load the iOS and Android apps right here.
